You should have a septic system inspected at least every 3 years, your tank pumped every 3 to 5 years. Alternative systems with electrical float switches, pumps, or mechanical components need to be inspected once a year to be county compliant.
Do Not flush: coffee grounds, baby wipes, hair, dental floss, cat litter, cigarette butts, wrappers, latex products, feminine products, paper towels, hazardous materials, fat, grease or oil. This can clog and destroy your tank and pipes.
